Christmas Cooties.. oops I mean Cookies!

Baking Christmas cookies with 4 kids ( half of which are under the age of 2) is quite an experience! As you will see from the pictures that if you are offered a cookie from the Hitchings house it is best to just refuse.. LOL
For some reason the first thing Andrew decided to do is take the flour and cover his face in it . It appeared as if he was pretending to splash cologne on himself. It was priceless!
The whole gang getting into the mess!

Making some tasty cut-outs

This is my personal favorite. Would anyone like a little stinky feet with their cookie?

Love the expressions!
Gooof balls..lol
No Bubby.. You can't eat them yet!

Andrew and Ava getting into the action
Em says " I guess I shouldn't of wore black!"

This was the first time the girls have used a rolling pin. They didn't even know what it was. Guess their mom's not a baker?
Time to icing! Note the licking has already begun.
Hannah takes after her mom with her artistic ability.
Emily's tongue has moving a million miles per hour as her little fingers spread the sprinkles.
Note the bite out of the cookie already??
yumm yummmy!
I think they had more on their face then their cookies

Ariel & Snow White

It's Carving Time!!

No one ever warned me that having 4 kids means that you will have endless pumpkins to clean out! Why are my children so wimpy? It's only pumpkins seeds.... They won't bite!

Ava at least was thinking she might touch it!

The final product!
AHHHH it was worth it all in the end!

Ramseyer Farms

In October we took a trip to Ramseyer farms. We had a blast. The babies are finally getting old enough that we are able to begin to go on outings that are fun for the whole family. Gone are the days of totting babies around in a big double stroller... They are now rambunscious toddlers running every which way chasing right behind their big sisters. A great family photo with the exception of Andrew being hung by his neck.
Great picture Dad!
Hannah leading everyone through the hay bale maze.
Now it's Emily's turn leading the crew.. ohh MY!

Off to the corn maze..Ohh will we ever find our way out??
Somewhere lost on I-77. The corn maze was set up like the state of Ohio. And the fact that we were on I-77 meant nothing to me and Hannah who were leading the Hitchings crew.
Emily ... where are you??
Hannah very proud of her Ohio history facts.
Andrew the shy lost boy
Andrew rejoicing in seeing the end of the path!
Hay wagon ride to the pumpkin patch
Someone has taken my baby and left me a preteen in her place! I can't help but enjoy every minute with Hannah because the time is coming very soon when I know she won't want to hang out with her mom!
The babies enjoying the ride
Emily's facial expressions are worth a thousand words
Emily and the potato shooter. If I remember correctly her potato went about 2 feet.
The Ramseyer Farm Derby. What a fierce race that was!
